  • S5705 - 257: 20,000 migrate through the Kamchatka Peninsula in spring. Significant numbers winter on rivers near hydroelectric stations in Lake Baikal region. For example, 14-23,000 winter in Angara source and upper stream (452, 231, 232). Most such ice-free wintering areas are not yet counted.
